Class A (Beginner)
In this class (from the third grade of primary school) students have four –hour courses a week. 2 hours weekly are devoted to the comprehension and production of written speech with books that correspond to the children’s interests , with the assignment of individual and group projects with state-of-the-art audiovisual means that reinforce the listening comprehension, with the use of an interactive board and the frequent revision of the syllabus. Literature already exists from the first steps of our young students because it makes the learning process pleasant and effective. At this stage, the knowledge of grammar that the students have gained is established and they are called to respond to more difficult exercises in one hour weekly. The students revise the tenses from the beginning and in this class they learn up to Present Perfect. Finally, one hour a week is devoted to practising the language using computers with which studying texts is combined with sound, image, with grammar exercises, with vocabulary exercises and with accent.
Class B (Elementary)
Students (from the fourth grade of primary school) attend two-hour classes weekly. In this class, the hours in which children are engaged with the comprehension and production of written speech are increased from two to three. Grammar remains one hour weekly.Children have the ability to come to our centre extra hours to attend several programmes with the aid of computers to practice the language, which after consultation and guidance about the way they work, can be done at home. The Coursebook is taught three hours a week and grammar one hour. At his stage, more complex grammatical phenomena are covered even passive voice which combined with the vocabulary, approximately 1050 new words, familiarize students even more with the English language. The extra contemporary audiovisual programmes and the teaching of English literature enrich students’ knowledge
Class C (Pre-Intermediate)
Students (from the fifth grade of primary school) at this level attend courses with an English speaking teacher one hour per week. Special importance is paid to practising speaking and this goal is reinforced with several projects that prepare students at an individual or group level. The programme is reinforced with a two-hour course with Coursebook, that is understanding texts with various content and a weekly grammar course. Great emphasis is placed at this stage on the production of written speech with a book that analytically refers to the structure of a composition. Grammar is almost completed and the vocabulary is enriched with 1200 new words. Finally, the contemporary audiovisual means that are included in the educational process reinforce the students’ speaking and listening ability.
Class D (Intermediate)
This class (from the sixth grade of primary school) is the last of the first level. The main goal of these levels is the completion of learning the basic structures of the English language. Completing this class, students are able to use English at a daily life level. The programme includes a two-hour Coursebook lesson weekly, one hour grammar and one hour with an English speaking teacher with whom students practise speaking. Both practising speaking and the extended vocabulary that the students must learn that comes approximately to 2000 words, enables them to become fluent in speaking English. Special emphasis is placed on the production of writing and on the different types of compositions the students must write. Finally, at this level, the rich educational material through audiovisual programmes that our centre has and the study of literature reinforce students’ knowledge.

Certificates always comprise a motivation for students (external motivation) but the objective of our centre is not to be an end in itself. We definitely want the love for the language (internal motivation) to be the most important motivation of children and the ability to speak fluently and understand the English language as well as any other foreign language.
General Information
Our Centre is open all year round except for the last fifteen days of August. The winter period begins in September and is completed in May and the summer period begins in June and is completed on 15th of August. For Junior classes, there is an additional special summer programme in which the classes can be completed from June to July so that our young students can have August free.
It is worth pointing out that all the teachers of our centre are available both for parents and students at a specified time a week throughout the school year. The “Teacher’s hour” as we call it, the students can come to our centre for any queries they might have, for extra help they may need, to cover the syllabus in case they were absent or even for any discussion they want to have with their teacher over anything that concerns them. Parents can also come to our centre to ask about their children’s progress or to discuss any matter that concerns their children’s attitude.
