Why Russian?

The Russian alphabet is a variation of the Greek (Byzantine) alphabet, created in the 9th century to spread the Holy Scriptures among Slavic speakers. Russian is a rich and expressive language with great flexibility, without major difficulties for Greek-speaking students due to the common origin and similar grammar and syntax structure. Additionally, the Russian language uses many words of Greek origin, making them easily recognizable to students. A student will be able to communicate on everyday topics after 100–120 hours of instruction.
